Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Kelvin of Parkland, Fla., formerly of Plymouth Meeting; Mr. and Mrs. Marc Wachtel of Melville, N.Y.; and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence LeVine of Manhattan announce the engagement of their children, Jennifer Hope Kelvin to Blake Lawrence LeVine.
Jennifer graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor's degree in psychology. A graduate of Weill Cornell Medical College, she is a physician assistant at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
Blake graduated from the New York Institute of Technology with a degree in communications. He also holds a master's degree in social work from Adelphi University. Blake is a published author, film producer and social worker at the Lenox Hill Neighborhood House in Manhattan.
Jennifer is the granddaughter of Mitzi and Leonard Moonblatt of Coral Springs, Fla.; and the late Phyllis and Carl Kelvin of Wyncote. She is the great-granddaughter of the late Samuel and Tillie Allanoff of Philadelphia.
Blake is the grandson of Barbara and Neiman Cohen of Bala Cynwyd; Arlene Wachtel and the late Arthur Wachtel of Boca Raton, Fla.; and the late Blanche and Burton LeVine of Patterson, N.J.
The couple, who were engaged on the "Dr. Phil" television show, is planning an April wedding in Center City.
