Rabbi Alan J. Iser of Congregation Or Shalom recites Kaddish after completing the burial of worn-out prayerbooks at Haym Salomon Memorial Park in Frazer. In keeping with ancient Jewish tradition, the service was similar to that of burying a person who used the sacred texts themselves, with psalms, readings and even a eulogy offered by the rabbi.
