Judaic Studies Program of Drexel University

3141 Chestnut Street
331 Hagerty Library
Philadelphia, PA 19104

Part of the College of Arts and Sciences, we offer an array of undergraduate courses on Jewish history, culture, religion, and politics.

We explore the Jewish experience through time and from a variety of standpoints.

The courses satisfy the elective requirements of many majors, and can be taken as part of the Louis Stein Minor in Judaic Studies.

The Judaic Studies Program also sponsors public programs for the education of the Drexel community as well as the general public.

All of our events are free and open to the public. They include lectures, book signings, musical performances, film showings and art exhibits.

The Program is directed by Dr. Rakhmiel Peltz, Ph.D., who is also a Professor of Sociolinguistics in the department of Culture and Communication at Drexel.
