Israeli Film Night

Congregation Mikveh Israel  and Mr. Richard Schulz, will present an evening of 3 Israeli short films with English subtitles, directed by graduates of the Ma’aleh School of Television, Film & the Arts in Jerusalem. Time: 7:45 P.M. Admission: Free.  The films: Stand Up (comedy about a religious school teacher who wants to become a stand up comic); Addes, a documentary about renovating an old Syrian synagogue in Jerusalem; and 71 Square Meters (drama/comedy about a young man who goes back to his parents’ home before it is razed.  Refreshments will be available for purchase; proceeds benefit the school’s need for an elevator for disabled student.  Everyone is welcome.
