There was no Jean Dujardin, but there was certainly Roee Elsberg -- and the "cast and crew" of the Israeli Film Festival couldn't be happier than to have the star of its opening-night feature, "Intimate Grammar," right there on its own veritable red carpet. (OK, so it wasn't red, but the sidewalk in front of International House certainly had a delighted crowd awaiting the premiere here.) Having reason to celebrate with the star (lower row, second from left) are board members (same row, from left) Idit Trope; Mindy Chriqui, festival founder; Galit Carmeli; and Kira Stein; (middle row, from left) Yonathan Friesem; Linor Schmeidler; Have Grunwald; and Nurit Yaron, IFF chair; and (top row, from left) Marvin Verman; Juliet Spitzer; Deborah Baer Mozes, director of cultural affairs for the Israel consulate; Tomer Yaron; and Aelon Porat.
