Welcome to Beth El! Our vision is to have a positive impact on your life through sharing the joys and responsibilities of Jewish tradition in a relevant, modern, and meaningful way. We hope that by getting to know us better you'll find Beth El to be a place of encouragement and hope, joy and celebration. At the same time, know that Beth El is a source of support and comfort for those who face challenging times in their lives, too. At Beth El you are a part of a synagogue family that cares about you, looks out for you, and is concerned about your needs.
Our mission message is Integrate – Educate – Elevate
Our first goal is to help individuals and families find a meaningful point of entry into synagogue life. For some this may be through our uplifting prayer services; for others, it may be through our schools or classes. Still others will find their way in through our peer-based social groups for youth, young families, empty nesters, and seniors. There are so many ways to make friends at Beth El.
Education at Beth El takes place in many forms and settings. Our Early Childhood Center, Religious School, and Hebrew High have all won awards for their innovative programming and enthusiastic teachers. I invite you to speak with their directors, or better yet, to the parents and students who enjoy all our schools have to offer. In addition, we have informal educational opportunities such as Dine and Study in the synagogue, casual get togethers in people's homes, and even sessions in local restaurants. We are ready to meet you wherever you are in terms of Jewish learning, and are dedicated to taking you higher.
The winning combination of solid Torah-based learning in a warm, supportive, and nurturing environment takes us all higher, closer to being the people we know in our hearts G-d intended us to be. Integrate – Educate – Elevate, that's what we are all about.
I am delighted that you have taken the time to find out more about our Beth El. We are proud of who we are and what we stand for; if it's the right fit for you, we'd be honored to have you as members. I look forward to speaking with you about the congregation I love so much.
