Genealogy Workshop: Searching For Your Jewish Family

February 13, 2013 6:00 PM-7:00 PM

At this genealogy workshop, Fred Blum, president of the Jewish Genealogical Society of Greater Philadelphia, will share techniques to track down Jewish ancestors. Blum, a licensed private detective, has been researching his own family since 1998 and located more than 1,200 relatives dating back to 1810 in the United States, Canada, Ukraine, and Israel. He will also discuss his work in locating Holocaust survivors for the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. A handout will be distributed with useful Internet research sites.
