Following are just some of the elective allocations Federation's Center for Israel and Overseas made last year to support Israel and to connect the Greater Philadelphia community to Israel:

• $529,644 to serve populations at risk in Israel, including the elderly, children and immigrants.

• $346,000 to address security needs in Israel through Camp Koby, Hadassah, Hatzolah, One Family, NATAL and JAFI's Victims of Terror Fund.

• $145,000 for immigration and absorption in Israel supporting Nefesh B'Nefesh and programs for lone soldiers.

• $721,000 to provide programs with Federation's Partnership 2000 Region, Netivot-Sedot Negev.
