National Council of Jewish Women – Greater Philadelphia Section To Be Honored at 7th Annual Educators Luncheon

The Holocaust Awareness Museum and Education Center of Philadelphia (HAMEC) will host its seventh annual Educators Luncheon at the Philmont Country Club, 301 Tomlinson Road, Huntingdon Valley.

The guest speaker will be Barbara Nussbaum, NCJW – Greater Philadelphia Section’s president.

Cost is $50 per person. The program is open to the public and reservations are required before April 12. For reservations, email [email protected] hamec.org or call 215-464-4701.

NCJW will be honored with our third annual Excellence in Education Award in recognition of the advocacy, leadership and dedication of NCJW members to promoting the field of Holocaust studies and education, which advance the values and mission of HAMEC.

HAMEC the premier provider of Holocaust education programs in the Delaware Valley. In the last school year alone, HAMEC completed more than 300 programs and reached more than 40,000 students in the Greater Philadelphia area, across the United States and internationally. The museum is dedicated to educating students about the consequences of intolerance and hate. Each year museum programs provide students with Holocaust survivor presentations, school visits, videos, and plays such as the Anne Frank Theater Project.
