Israel Bonds Bucks County Community event honoring Ayala Rahimi & Scott Adler and Harriet & Mark Levin. Izzy Ezagui, an American-born squad commander in the Israel Defense Forces, who lost his dominant arm in combat but returned to the battlefield, is the keynote speaker. Ayala & Scott are active members of their synagogue and the Jewish community and are involved in various Jewish and Zionist organizations. They have two children, their son and a daughter-in-law who live in Philadelphia and their daughter, who served as a lone soldier in the IDF, and son-in-law who now live in Jerusalem. Mark & Harriet are long time supporters of Israel, their synagogue and Camp Ramah. For 10 years Mark & Harriet have devoted themselves to projects and fundraising efforts perpetuating the memory of their son, Michael Levin z”l, the sole American soldier in the IDF to give his life in the 2006 war in Lebanon in defense of the State of Israel. They have worked to make their son’s dream of establishing the Lone Soldier Center in Israel come true with three centers that provide service to over 6,000 Lone Soldiers. Harriet & Mark have two daughters, two sons-in-law and 4 grandchildren.
