More About Dalia Ziada:

A graduate of the Master’s program in International Relations at the Fletcher School for Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, Dalia Ziada serves as Director of the Ibn Khaldun Center for Development in Cairo. In recognition of her work advocating women’s rights, civil freedoms and liberal democracy in the Middle East, she has received numerous international awards including the Tufts University Presidential Award for Civil Work (2011) and the Anna Lindh Euro-Mediterranean Journalist Award (2010). She was also recently named One of the Arab World's 8 Agents of Change by CNN and honored among the World's Seventeen Bravest Bloggers by the Daily Beast.  A frequent commentator on Middle East issues, Ms. Ziada has spoken before the US Congress, Harvard University, the CATO Institute, and numerous international NGOs. She is preparing to run for the Egyptian presidency when she becomes eligible in 2022.
