Families Helping Families

April 27, 2014 1:00 PM-5:00 PM

Families Helping Families will bring together families for a day of fun, community-building and service at the Montgomery County Sports Performance Center in Harleysville, Pennsylvania, on Sunday, April 27th, from 1:00PM until 5:00PM.  Supervised by trained staff, activities will include gymnastics, trampolines, climbing walls, rope swings, foam and ball pits, crafts, games, bounce houses, and a toddler play area - - fun for all ages!

A highlight of the day will be the assembly of Food4Hope bags, benefitting local homeless shelters and other organizations serving the most vulnerable. This project will give people of all ages an opportunity to perform meaningful service benefitting people who live in their communities, and demonstrate how even the youngest children can make a big impact.

Mitzvah Circle Foundation is a Lansdale-based non-profit organization that provides support, hope and dignity to individuals and families during times of crisis, poverty, homelessness and serious illness.  They help people who have fallen through the cracks, removing barriers to provide help and guidance with care and compassion.  Through the building of personal relationships, Mitzvah Circle identifies critical needs and provides clothing, diapers, household items, food, services, referrals and more.  The Foundation responds to basic human needs without discrimination, with compassion, love, and resources that truly make a difference for people who are walking along life’s edge.

Anyone interested in participating in Family Fun Day can sign up through the Mitzvah Circle Foundation’s website - -  Tickets are $10 per child in advance, $12 per child at the door.  There is no charge for adults.  For further information call (215)828-6647.
