Drexel Students Celebrate Yom Ha'atzmaut

The Dragons for Israel at Drexel University held a Yom Ha'atzmaut party Tuesday, April 16, 2013. The party included volleyball, Israeli food and birthday cake for the country's 65th.

The Dragons for Israel at Drexel University let out a mighty roar in celebration of the Jewish State on Tuesday.

As part of the school's annual Israel Peace Week, the student organziation held a party on campus to celebrate Israel's 65th birthday.

Shani Weiss, president of the Dragons for Israel, wrote in an email that the week is intended to promote a "positive and peaceful image of Israel on Drexel's campus."

The party included volleyball, Israeli food and birthday cake.
