MARTIN GREENBERG, age 92, passed away on January 14, 2015 in Hallandale, Florida.  MR.GREENBERG was the owner of Martin Motor Freight. He is survived by his wife TOBY (BOCK), a son Stewart Bruce Greenberg (Lynn) of Little Rock, Arkansas and a stepson Richard E.  Mantell (Anita), four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. His first wife Tillie, a daughter Delores, a son Mark and a granddaughter Lauren predeceased him. Born in South Philadelphia near 3rd and Porter Sts he retained the essence of his South Philly roots throughout his life. In his youth he was known as Mickey and was active in the Boy Scouts where he developed a love for camping and the great outdoors. In later years, his wanderlust took him on many a road trip and he thought nothing of driving to Montana or the Dakotas, just to see what was there (and to find a local shul).  Martin was a proud Mason, which he attributed to making him into a “Mensch”. Before retiring to Hallandale, Florida, he and Toby resided in Cherry Hill, the Jersey shore and aboard his pride and joy: The Toby G. Contributions in his memory may be made to the University of Arkansas Children’s Hospital or the Jewish Federation of Philadelphia.
