ISADORE S. DION, a businessman who started in the garment industry as a manufacturer of women's dresses, died July 31, 2014.  He was 92 and lived in Warminster, Pa.  MR. DION produced dresses for J.C. Penney in the 1950's and 1960's.  He later manufactured more upscale dresses as a collaborator with Oleg Cassini.  When manufacturing became too costly in the northeastern cities and moved to the south and overseas, he gave up the dress manufacturing and began to seek other business opportunities including jewelry and warehousing.  His last project before retirement was the purchase of 915 Spring Garden Street, which was an old Conrail train station.  He converted the building into rental artist studios.  MR. DION was a member of Beth Sholom Congregation in Elkins Park, a member of Shekinah-Fernwood Lodge #246 F and AM, and was a Shriner. He is predeceased by his wife DORIS, who died in October 2011.  Father of ALAN JAY (DEBORAH) DION, ESQ., MICHAEL HARVEY (GLORIA) DION, LINDA (ERIC) PODIETZ and SAMUEL A. (MICKI) DION, ESQ.; also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.  Contributions in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 399 Market Street, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
