Congregation Leyv Ha-Ir, Hebrew for Heart of the City, is a Reconstructionist congregation, neeting at the Ethical Society at 1906 S. Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia. Founded in 1990, Congregation Leyv Ha-Ir is led by Rabbi Julie Greenberg. Our community is comprised of people from a variety of demographics and household types, levels of Jewish observance, sexual orientations, and abilities.  We care about the importance of Jewish community, history and religion.
