And all that jazz sure attracted a pre-Shabbat crowd to a Friday concert sponsored by Art After Five and the Israeli JazzPhest, with a major boost from the Consulate General of Israel, at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Last week’s gathering included the talents of Reut Regev on trombone and prominent pianist Burton Greene.

The Katz JCC Early Childhood Education Center of Margate drew more than 300 revelers taking part in its Ladies’ Night Out Shopping Extravaganza, sponsored by the center’s parent committee. Katz JCC member Amy Brog and Katie Oliver, both of Margate, enjoyed the event, chaired by Laurie Staller.
