For the past 10 years, the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia’s Rhawnhurst NORC (Naturally Occurring Retirement Community), in partnership with Catholic Healthcare Services, has enabled older adults in Northeast Philadelphia’s 19111, 19149 and 19152 ZIP codes to get the support they need to continue living in their homes safely and with dignity.

Meadowlands Country Club, now under the new ownership of Bruce Goodman, a member of JFRE and a “legend” at JFRE’s most recent Legends and Leaders program, will be hosting its 63rd annual Jewish Community Day to benefit the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia.

Dozens of women representing the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia’s Women’s Philanthropy group traveled on a mission to Poland and Israel, who joined 18,000 participants from all over the world on the March of the Living, walking from Auschwitz to Birkenau in order to demonstrate that despite the horrors of the Holocaust, the Jewish people are alive and thriving.
