It was a great night for baseball and the Brotherhood of Old York Road Temple-Beth Am of Abington, as they took in a Phillies game, introducing the temple’s new clergy member to the ballpark. And if the Boys of Summer aren’t exactly sizzling this season, they at least had a winning way of welcoming Associate Rabbi Jake Singer-Beilin (standing) to the synagogue’s starting lineup: They beat the Seattle Mariners 4-1. With Singer-Beilin (from left) are congregants Allan Daniels and his daughter, Robyn; Paul Rothman; and Steve and Bonnie Greenwald.
