Sue Aistrop has been named director of community services and RSVP/Phila­delphia at the Klein JCC. In her new role, her purview will include direction of the Home Delivered Meals Program and its Cook for a Friend service. She also continues in her role as head of the JCC Wellness Center.

Deborah R. Willig, managing partner of Willig, Williams & Davidson, a law firm that specializes in labor, employment and workers’ compensation, has been deemed a Top Rated Lawyer in Labor and Employment by The American Lawyer, one of many honors accorded Willig over the years.

Ezra Wohlgelernter, of Feldman Shepherd Wohlgelernter Tanner Weinstock & Dodig LLP, has been voted in as vice president of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association.

Bala Cynwyd’s Dr. Mitchell Scheiman has been chosen as new dean of research at Salus University. He had been serving as interim dean of the local school.

Bruce Friedman has been named executive director of finance of Penn Dental Medicine. Previously he served as CFO for a charter school management business.

Louis Agre was recently named recipient of the Economic Justice Award by the president of the Philadelphia Metal Trades Council. An organizer for and counsel to the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 542, and leader of the 21st Democratic Ward, Agre was cited for his advocacy work on behalf of workers as well as the unemployed.

Gene Katsevich, member of the 2014 graduating class of Princeton University, has been awarded a Hertz Fellowship, a highly selective honor — only 15 were chosen out of 800 applicants — which he will use to pursue a doctorate in statistics at Stanford University.

Saul Gruber of the legal Gruber Firm, located in Mount Laurel, N.J., has been chosen as second vice president of the New Jersey Association for Justice.

Saul S. Rivkin, of Victory Bank, which he serves as vice president as chief retail officer, has been named an honor student by the Pennsylvania Bankers Association Advanced School of Banking for his
studies there.

Attorney Jeffrey Lutsky, of Stradley Ronon, which he serves as managing partner, has been elected chairman of the University of the Arts.

Marc A. Feller, of Dilworth Paxson has been named the region’s 2014 “Lawyer of the Year” in the public finance section by Best Lawyers.

Michael F. Gerber has been named to the board of overseers at Penn’s School of Veterinary Medicine.
