Gathered for a leadership dinner last month in Phoenixville (from left) are David Gold, Kehillah of Chester County chairman and a Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia board member; Naomi L. Adler, Federation CEO; Marian and David Moskowitz, developers of Franklin Commons who also served as event hosts; and Len Zimmerman, Federation’s chief development officer.

A recent leadership dinner was proof positive of the Kehillah of Chester County's growing profile as a communal player.

Some 60 revelers attended "A Taste of Israel" in Phoenixville, including a wide band of communal movers and shakers from the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia and area synagogues.

Part of the attraction was a display of artworks that came from Federation's Partnership 2Gether communities of Netivot-Sedot Negev.

Hosts for the evening — which included Israeli-style tapas served up by Israeli chef Nir Margalith — were Marian and David Moskowitz, developers of Franklin Commons.
