Art Museum Dedicates Gallery to Sachs Couple
In a special evening event, the Philadelphia Museum of Art officially dedicated its new galleries of modern and contemporary art after Keith L. and Katherine Sachs.
Married 45 years, the couple — whose collection includes works by Georg Baselitz, Robert Gober and Cy Twombly —earlier this year donated 97 pieces of art created over the past 50 years to the museum, now showcased in part on the galleries' walls. A full-blown show of the donated works is scheduled for summer 2016.
