Kohelet Yeshiva High School students, joined by Rabbi Yitz Levi, city director of the local chapter of National Conference of Synagogue Youth, put out the hamantashen for residents of Martins Run.

What better way to celebrate a sweet holiday than the poignant mix of a transgenerational get-together?

Such was the case as students from  Kohelet Yeshiva High School in Merion Station and sixth-graders from Beth David Reform Congregation in Gladwyne dropped by Martins Run, a senior community in Media, for a Purim celebration.

The event included much singing and baking — and many, many batches of hamantashen!
