The Exponent welcomes reader comments in order to promote thoughtful diaolgue on issues of importance to our community. In order to promote a civil discussion, we request that all submissions be respectful toward the authors and subjects of the articles. Vigorous debate and reasoned critique are welcome; ad hominem attacks are not.

Comments on Exponent content are currently enabled through third party social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter, which require users to register a name and account. Although we do not have any obligation to edit or monitor these services, or this self-published content, we reserve the right at all times:

  • To remove any information or materials that we deem unlawful, threatening, abusive, libelous, defamatory, obscene, vulgar, pornographic, profane, indecent or otherwise objectionable.
  • To disclose any information necessary to satisfy any legal, regulatory or government request
  • To permanently block any user who violates these terms and conditions.
