               Commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of Kristallnacht

A Cantata for Chamber Orchestra, Chorus, Soloists and Narrator, by Samuel Adler.  A powerful evening of commemoration and recollection.  Samuel Adler is an acclaimed American composer who will be present that evening to share his own memories of Kristallnacht.  The cantata will feature Larry Kane as narrator, members of the Philadelphia Orchestra and Philadelphia Singers, Hazzan Eliot Vogel as a featured soloist and Jonathan Coopersmith of the Curtis Institute, conductor.  A special exhibit of visual images prepared by the Anti-Defamation League and the Consortium of Holocaust Educators of Greater Philadelphia which tells the story of the events leading up to and including Kristallnacht will accompany the program.  General Admission-$10, Reserved Seating-$25.  Har Zion Temple, 1500 Hagys Ford Road, Penn Valley, PA  19072.  For more information, 610-667-5000.
