The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia is a proud sponsor of Jewish Heritage Night at PPL Park in Chester, the home of the Philadelphia Union. Tickets are now on sale for this fun-filled evening, which will kick off on Wednesday, June 5, at 7:30 p.m.

This major league soccer event pits the Philadelphia Union against the Columbus Crew. Both teams feature superb Jewish goalkeepers — Zac MacMath from the Union and Andy Grunenbaum for the Crew.

Prior to the game, Toyota Plaza, adjacent to the stadium, will be transformed into a Jewish festival, featuring Israel folk dancers, klezmer music and information booths. Commemorative team shirts written in Hebrew will be on sale at the game and kosher food will be available.

Tickets are $30 per person and may be ordered online at: www.philadelphiaunion.com/promo (enter promo code “Jewish13”). Service charges will be waived for groups of 15 or more.

Representatives of the Philadelphia Union will be a part of Federation’s Israel 65 Parade and Festival on Sunday, May 19. The parade kicks off at 11 a.m. from 22nd & the Parkway near the Philadelphia Museum of Art and will make its way through Center City to the Pennsylvania Convention Center for a free, family-friendly afternoon of music, ethnic foods, a Bedouin tent, arts, crafts, technology and more. Join in the fun from noon to 4 p.m. l
