Amy Estelle Castleberry


Colonel John and Beth Castleberry of Cheltenham, announce the graduation of their daughter, Amy Estelle Castleberry, from Salus University: Pennsylvania College of Optometry.  Amy received her Master of Science degree in Blindness and Low Vision Rehabilitation.

Amy completed her fieldwork at the Montgomery County Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Norristown and recently completed her clinical internship at the Southwestern Blind Rehabilitation Center at the Southern Arizona Veterans Affairs Health Care System in Tucson, Arizona.

Amy is a two time alumna of The University of Alabama, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2011, and a Master of Arts degree in 2013.

Sharing in this joyous milestone are her grandparents, Charlotte Heiser, and the late Reuben Heiser of Philadelphia. Amy is the granddaughter of the late Paul and Daytha Castleberry of Trussville, Alabama.

Amy will begin practicing at Southern Arizona Veterans Affairs Health Care System this summer, as their Blind and Low Vision Rehabilitation Specialist.

Rachel Katz


Sam and Sandy Savitz announce the graduation of their granddaughter Rachel Katz from the Schreyer’s Honor College of Penn State Abington on May 4. As class valedictorian, Rachel graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in business.

Rachel is the recipient of the Samuel J.D. Roberto business award and the Sparks award, and received a provost scholarship. Rachel served as president of Hillel for 2 years.

Rachel is the daughter of Mark and Judy (Savitz) Katz, and joining the celebration is her grandmother Margaret Katz, wife of the late George Katz.

Brandon Hark


Brandon Hark is graduating from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) on May 24. He will complete his residency in pediatrics at Eastern Virginia Medical School – Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters in Norfolk, Virginia. He is living in Manayunk, but was raised in Collegeville.

Brandon is the song of Alan and Debbie Hark and the brother of Jared Hark. His grandparents are Irving Hark and the late Shirley Hark, and Arthur Berger and the late Natalie Gorka.

Jamie Hope Honowitz


Sue and Barry Honowitz of Golden Beach, Florida, announce the graduation of their daughter Jamie Hope Honowitz, from the University of Florida School of Journalism and Communications summa cum laude

Scott A. Felder


Col. (Ret.) and Mrs. Jeffrey D. Felder announce the graduation of their son, Lt. Col. Scott A. Felder, from the U.S. Army War College as a distinguished graduate with a master’s degree in strategic studies. Felder was commissioned as a distinguished military graduate of Vanderbilt University’s College of Engineering, summa cum laude, and earned his law degree from the University of Virginia, where he was a Dillard Fellow and member of the Order of the Coif. He is a distinguished graduate of the Judge Advocate General’s Officer Basic and Advanced Courses and of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. He is a partner at Wiley Rein, LLP.

Shoshana Shira Twersky


Shoshana Shira Twersky of Bala Cynwyd was awarded a doctor of psychology degree in clinical psychology from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine at its graduate programs commencement ceremony on July 31 at the Kimmel Center for Performing Arts.

Shoshana Twersky is the daughter of Yitzchak Twersky of Jerusalem, Israel and Renee Shavel of Chester, N.H. and the wife of Michael Schulz of Bala Cynwyd.

She earned a bachelor of arts degree in liberal arts in 2004 and a master of arts degree in community and social psychology in 2005 from the University of Massachusetts.

Zachary Senzer


Sam and Sandy Savitz are proud to announce the graduation of their grandson, Zachary Senzer, from the University of Delaware. Zach graduated summa cum laude, receiving an honors Bachelor of Science with distinction. He was also recognized as the department of computer and information science’s outstanding senior student.

Zach is the son of Richard and Deborah Senzer (née Savitz) and the brother of Benjamin. Joining the celebration is grandmother Norma Senzer, wife of the late Harry Senzer.

Zach is headed to California to work for Google as a product manager.

Robert Howard Kail


Howard and Nilsa Kail of Sarasota, Fla. (formerly of Philadelphia and Bucks County) proudly announce the graduation of their son, Robert Howard Kail. Robert received a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Florida. Prior to graduation, the university awarded him a gold medal for his achievements in the study of American Sign Language.

Robert plans to pursue a master’s degree in business following graduation.

Arielle Lauren Yacker


Arielle Yacker, daughter of Scott and Shira Lipton Yacker, both originally from Philadelphia, will graduate Easton Area High School on June 12, 2017.

Arielle is attending the Joint Program at Columbia University and the Jewish Theological Seminary in the fall where she will study pre-med and Jewish history.

Mitchell Arch


Elaine and Doug Arch of Huntingdon Valley and Ventnor, N.J., announce the graduation of their son Mitchell Stuart Arch from The Villanova University Executive Master of Business Administration Program.

Mitchell is a CPA and graduate of Lower Moreland High School and Penn State University.  He is manager, corporate accounting, at Aqua America Inc.

Mitchell is the grandson of Fritzi Arch and the late Harold Arch. He is also the grandson of the late Beatrice Friedman and the late Morris Friedman.
