presenting a Full Length Feature Film

4 sessions: Tuesday January 14, 21, 28, February 4

1:00pm

Join in the fun of watching a great movie with Dr. Moylan Mills setting the scene followed by group response and discussion of the film.

Tuesday, January 14
Le Bal

One of the most unusual films ever created. The history of France from the mid-30s to the mid-50s told entirely through music and dance in a typical French cabaret.

Tuesday, January 21
Walk on Water

Israeli film that focuses on a Mossad agent and his perilous connection with a tantalizing case that involves his interaction with a brother/sister duo who may be on the Israeli side or may be not.

Tuesday, January 28
The Secret in Their Eyes

Argentine policier that examines the relationship between a prosecutor (male) and a judge (female) who once long ago had an affair and are now reunited when a "cold case" gets hot. Sparks will fly.

Tuesday, February 4
Before Midnight

Many critics think that this is the best film of 2013. I rank it very high myself. This is the third installment in the affair of Jesse and Celine, and it is by far the best---an honest look at two people trying to make their relationship work

Despite the oncoming horrors of the Holocaust, Gilbert and Eleanor Kraus bravely traveled into the heart of the Nazi empire in an effort to save innocent lives. Their unlikely mission would turn an ordinary American couple into extraordinary heroes. Their incredible story has never been told...until now.    Special guest, holocaust survivor and one of the 50 children rescued, Kurt Herman, will be at the movie screening for a question and answer session.    All ticket sales benefit Almond Branch Initiative, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing humanitarian aid to the state of Israel.
