Jane Golden, executive director of Philadelphia’s famed Mural Arts Program, spoke to an enthusiastic audience of women during an April event hosted by the Women’s Philanthropy affinity of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia.

Golden shared her personal story of her determination to make a difference in the lives of others through the Mural Arts Program and told the women about the program’s first Israeli endeavor in the town of Netivot, one of two Southern Israeli communities paired with Philadelphia’s Jewish community through Partnership2Gether, an initiative of the Jewish Agency for Israel.

Esther Kaplin opened her home for the Pomegranate event, which honors the generous women in our community who make a minimum gift of $1,800 to Federation’s Jewish Community Fund. Event co-chairs were Julie Gubernick and Debra Zweben.
