3rd Annual Tour de Shuls PA-NJ Bike Ride for Camp Ramah

September 21, 2014 7:00 AM-1:00 PM

The 3rd Annual Tour de Shuls PA-NJ Bike Ride is the major fundraiser for Camp Ramah in the Poconos sponsored by the Middle Atlantic Region (MAR) of the Federation of Jewish Men's Clubs
(FJMC) will be held on Sunday morning, September 21, 2014.

This past September, we added team options and were impressed with the support of Camp Ramah's young almuni. A total of $35,000 was raised for Camp Ramah in the Poconos by the 200+ riders along with countless volunteers, individual donors and corporate sponsors.

This coming year we hope to include rides in Camden Co., NJ simultaneous to the 25mi., 45mi., and 3mi. family fun ride.

One of seventeen regions, the MAR (Middle Atlantic Region) is composed of 20 clubs throughout Southeastern PA and Southern NJ. The Region's leaders help build and strengthen Men’s Clubs through club visits, training programs, and the biennial regional retreat.

MAR has consistently demonstrated its commitment to Camp Ramah.  The Region’s Golden Kippah annual concert series raised over $1,000,000 for Camp Ramah in the Poconos, including funds specifically earmarked for the construction of the Olam Sport, an indoor multiple sport facility.  Other projects include the refurbishing of campers’ bunks, a new sports field, new tennis courts and camper scholarships.

It is with the same spirit that MAR proudly presents the 3rd Annual  Tour de Shuls PA-NJ Ride, a collaborative effort of the clubs in the Region and the Camp. Every dollar raised from riders’ fees, contributions and sponsorships is donated to Camp Ramah in the Poconos.
