Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy’s Human Rights Club met with Nafisa Adams, who founded Detiina (“Our Hope”), a self-sustaining jewelry business that uses recycled materials and uplifts and empowers women from the African village of Paga, allowing them to get an education and care for their families. Adams talked about her escape from child marriage in Ghana and brought some of her handcrafted jewelry.
