The rally, organized by the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, will take place on July 23 at 4:30 p.m.
The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia is organizing a community-wide rally to support Israel on July 23 in Center City's LOVE Park at the corner of 16th Street and John F. Kennedy Boulevard.
A long list of co-sponsors includes synagogues and groups across the political and religious spectrum.
The Federation also continues to raise money for its Israel Emergency Fund, which will send funds to help ease suffering experienced by Israelis as a result of the conflict.
So far some 1,200 rockets have been fired from Gaza resulting in the death of one Israeli citizen while over 200 Palestinians have died as a result of the fighting. Israel launched a ground operation Thursday night, with at least one soldier reported killed.
The solidarity rally is scheduled to take place at 4:30 p.m. More information is also available here on the Federation's website.
