Enjoy a summer Sunday afternoon of music, food and family fun and support Holocaust education programming throughout the Delaware Valley. Come to the Summer Music Festival on Sunday, July 27 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m at Keneseth Israel Congregation in Elkins Park. The event, sponsored by the Holocaust Museum and Education Center in Northeast Philadelphia, will feature Klezmer music performed by the Bobby Block Trio, an interactive performance by Rak-Dan Israeli dancing and the Jewish hip-hop stylings of Steve “Schmidty” Schmidt and Justin “Relik” Ginsberg.
There will be face painting and caricaturists to delight children while their parents enjoy shopping for jewelry, clothing and gift items. Food vendors will have delicious items available for purchase and there will be raffle tickets on sale throughout the afternoon.
