As kids dive into a new summer camp season, we’ll bring you their stories and photos in our online camp section.
For anyone who has ever attended summer camp — of the day or overnight persuasion — June’s rising temperatures and lasting sunlight is sure to stir up fond memories of color war, arts and crafts, splashing in the pool or lake and the unique bond of camp friendships.
This summer, the Exponent will help you live the summer camp life vicariously through those on the scene in a new “Camper of the Week” series. Each week, we’ll profile a standout camper nominated by the directors of Jewish camps around the region.
We also hope to feature a selection of letters — “hello mudda, hello fadda” anyone? — sent home from local Jewish campers attending any overnight camp around the country. If you receive a letter from your camper that you would like to share with us, please email it to: [email protected]nent.com.
