Drexel Hillel Lends an Ear to ‘Survivor Speaks’


One of the survivors rescued by Raoul Wallenberg during the Holocaust recently spoke to more than 100 students at a Drexel University Hillel program.

Drexel University Hillel recently presented its third "Survivor Speaks" program with Vera Goodkin, who was one of the Jews rescued by Raoul Wallenberg during the Holocaust. Goodkin addressed a crowd of close to 100 students as well as teachers and members of the community.

The program, coordinated by Drexel Hillel's Julie Kimelman and Rachel Pagano, was offered in association with the Goodwin Holocaust Museum and Education Center of Southern New Jersey.
