Troops Train With Livestock

As part of a special deployment training known as "Operation Mr. Ed," troops learned how to work with large animals at a rescue facility in South Jersey.

A special preparation for deployment was handled by the U.S. Air Force’s 78th Training Division, 424th Multifunctional Medical Battalion, and the 422nd Medical Detachment Veterinary Services, at Forgotten Angels Equine Rescue in Medford N.J.

Operation Mr. Ed — of course! — was held to support and give experience to the troops should they have to engage large livestock while serving in a foreign locale.
