A Warmflash of Emotional Triumph

There is good reason that the HMS School for Children with Cerebral Palsy has a warm spot for Jordana Warmflash (seated, center): The 21-year-old graduate — daughter of Rabbi Phil and Amy Warmflash — has been a major success story for their program. Indeed, Jordana has become the school’s “cover girl” with her story, which is the focus of the school’s annual report. It tells of her beginning at HMS at age 5 and continues as she transitions to a life in a new home as an independent young adult. Rejoicing in her triumphs (from left) are Hanna Aistrop, Jordana's cousin and a former student intern at the school; her mom; Jordana’s aunt, Joan Grossberg; Jordana’s dad; Cindy Snyder; and her cousin, Anita Grossberg. The photo was featured in the annual report.
