Susan Peikes Gantman has been elected president judge of the Pennsylvania Superior Court.
The Narberth, Montgomery County, native was first elected to the Superior Court bench in 2003 and was voted to a 10-year retention last year.
Gantman earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Pennsylvania before moving on to get her doctorate from the Villanova University School of Law.
Since graduating from Villanova in 1977, she has built a resume that includes serving as assistant district attorney in Montgomery County, senior member and co-chair of the Family Law Section of Cozen & O'Connor; and bench duties with the state Superior Court.
