A local lawyer discusses a controversial life-or-death medical case on cable's highest-rated news show.
Jennifer A. Brandt of Cozen O’Connor, who serves the firm's Family Law Practice, made a guest appearance on a recent segment of The O’Reilly Factor on the Fox News Network.
Brandt offered her take on the Jahi McMath case, in which the California teen, who had gone into a hospital for a tonsillectomy, was declared brain dead by her neurologists due to complications surrounding the procedure. Since then, the 13-year-old has been taken out of the hospital by her parents, who are trying to keep her alive by their own devices.
Brandt has been somewhat of a regular on Bill O'Reilly's nightly "No Spin Factor"-themed broadcast, the highest-rated news show on cable hosted by the successful, if controversial, commentator.
