Best Buddies Benefit Brings Crowds to Concert

Best Buddies Pennsylvania brought a Broadway star to its annual benefit in Philly.

Best Buddies Pennsylvania — part of a 1,500-chapter international organization devoted to fostering “friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities” — recently staged its second annual Friendship Concert at the Prince Music Theater in Center City. The show featured Meadowbrook native and Broadway star Jarrod Spector.

Spector, who finished a six-year run as Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys at the end of 2012, offered glimpses of his cabaret act and was joined on stage by a number of those who have been helped by Best Buddies.
