Alumni of the Federation's Israel360 trip met with an Israeli human rights activist who paved the way for embattled Ethiopian Jews to make aliyah over the past three decades.
The Renaissance Group's Israel360 Alumni gathered for a meeting with Micha Feldman, an Israeli icon whose work as a human rights activist paved the way for the arrival of embattled Ethiopian Jews to Israel over the past three decades.
Feldman helped shepherd some 100,000 Ethiopians to the Jewish state after years of persecution and impoverishment in their homeland.
Those who met Feldman at the special event also discussed their Israel360 experiences. The 10-day Israel trip for regional professionals between the age of 27 and 35 is a project of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia.
