An eminent tennis star/camp entrepreneur teams up with Camp Ramah to form a tennis academy.
Acclaimed tennis pro Julian Krinsky is teaming up with Camp Ramah in the Poconos to create Ramah Tennis Academy: Powered by Julian Krinsky.
The target audience will be campers in grades 5 to 10 taking the camp’s second session. The academy will begin operation next summer.
Krinsky has built an international reputation for his acumen in camps and tennis. His Julian Krinsky Camps & Programs have been running customized programs for close to four decades.
The native South African became a professional player while still a teen, playing Wimbledon and the French Open. His career netted an appearance at the Maccabiah Games in Israel as well.
Pursuing tennis wasn't his only passion: He graduated from law school and also became an accountant before coming to Philadelphia 36 years ago and becoming a camp impresario.
