The Israeli captain of Drexel University’s soccer team was named the most outstanding performer after his team took the Colonial Athletic Association’s Championships for the first time.
Israeli Tal Bublil, captain as well as senior defender of Drexel University’s soccer team, was chosen Most Outstanding Performer of the Colonial Athletic Association’s Championships. The Drexel Dragons took the championship for the first time, scoring a win over the College of William and Mary.
Bublil is a senior from Kfar-Mass in Israel, where he played for the Hapoel-Herzliya club team. Prior to his arrival at Drexel, he served three years in Israel's military.
The captain and his cohorts face off against Old Dominion in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Nov. 21, hosted by Drexel.
