It’s Pitt Stop at Benefit Dinner for Bnai Zion Foundation

Attorney Larry Pitt (right) recently was saluted by the Bnai Zion Foundation with its Distinguished Humanitarian Award at a dinner held at the National Museum of American Jewish History. The event was a benefit for Ahava Village for Children & Youth, which serves mistreated children in Kiryat Bialik, Israel. A video of Pitt’s recent trip to the village, a project of Bnai Zion, was shown at the tribute. At the dinner (from left): Sharona Durry, Bnai Zion Mid-Atlantic director; Robert P. Casey, Jr., senior U.S. senator from Pennsylvania; and Phyllis Meloff, who also was featured in the video. Making the award presentation, but not shown: Lynne M. Abraham, former Philadelphia district attorney.
