City Innovators Snag Global Recognition

Four past and present Philadelphians made a top list of city innovators.

At least four people with ties to the area were named to a global list of "Top 100 City Innovators" assembled by UBM Future Cities:

  • David Gloss and Kevin Colahan, who created the locally headquartered Here’s My Chance and the Do Gooder Awards
  • Paul Levy, longtime executive director of Philly’s Center City District, much credited with cleaning up the downtown area's onetime grease and grime; and
  • Judith Rodin, a former University of Pennsylvania president who now directs the Rockefeller Foundation

The report bills itself as "the global community for 21st century city decision makers."
