Abrams Hebrew Academy Director to Be Honored


The director of Abrams Hebrew Academy will pick up a major honor for longtime service.

Rabbi Ira Budow, who heads up Abrams Hebrew Academy, will be honored for his longtime commitment and devotion to Jewish education by the Princeton Mercer Bucks Jewish Federation at its annual kick-off dinner on Nov. 10. The setting for the event: Greenacres Country Club in Lawrence Township, N.J.

The rabbi has committed his entire 33-year career to education at Abrams, where he has also coached girls basketball and been in charge of the 8th grade class trip to Israel.

Others who will be honored at the event include Rick Goldstein, executive director of Greenwood House; and Linda Meisel, who holds the same role at the Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Greater Mercer County.
