Enjoy a slideshow and a short video featuring sukkah builders at the zoo, a city park and a Merion home.
Jews of all ages turned into construction workers over the weekend, building temporary huts to eat in and, in some cases, sleep in during Sukkot. The holiday celebrates the harvest and ancient Jews finding shelter in the desert.
If you didn't have time or room to set up your own sukkah, you can still share the experience virtually. Click on the multimedia tab to the right for a short video featuring sukkah builders at the zoo, a city park and a Merion home, plus a slideshow of photos.
It's also not too late to take part in any number of community Sukkot celebrations. Find a listing of public events on our online calendar.
