Prior to forming the firm, Ross was senior vice president of Manchester, a large human-resources consulting firm.
A graduate of Temple University – where he earned a bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree – Ross served as co-chair of both the Research and Technology Committees of the Philadelphia Human Resource Planning Group. He was a member of the Research Committee of the Society for Human Resource Management, as well as the Advisory Board of the Industrial and Organizational Psychology Department of Penn State University.
Ross, a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania, held a lifetime certification as a senior professional in human resources.
In addition, he was corporate director of organization development with the Unisys Corporation; staff member of Unisys Wharton Executive Development program; director of Unisys International Management and Organization Development; consultant and associate professor at the University of Delaware, Temple University and Chestnut Hill College; and a reading specialist/supervisor for the Wilmington School District.
A longtime member of Congregation Or Ami, he served as co-chair of the congregation's youth-advisory committee.
Ross is survived by his wife, the former Sharon Dobin; daughters Melissa Ross and Jennifer Foltz; sons Marc Ross and Jeff-rey Ross; and a granddaughter.
