Lisa Shore, 44, an advocate for the Multiple Sclerosis Society, died of the disease on Jan. 28 at Lankenau Hospital. She was a resident of Haverford.
Shore graduated from Lower Merion High School and Harcum College, where she trained to be a dental assistant. She worked in her father's dental practice in Norwood, Delaware County, until 1991.
She did extensive research on MS, sharing her knowledge with fellow residents of Inglis House who had the disease and with people referred to her by the MS Society. She also led fundraisers for the home for the physically-disabled.
Shore is survived by her parents, Joseph and Bette Shore; brothers Jeffrey Shore and Richard Shore; and four nieces.
