Ronald Mark Bolnick, 74, a former executive and fire policeman, died Aug. 11 at his home in Norwood, Pa.
Born in Philadelphia, Bolnick was raised in Philadelphia and Atlantic City and attended Germantown High School and Atlantic City High School.
He served in the Navy on the USS Coral Sea CVA-43, then attended Temple University where he graduated with an associates degree in mechanical engineering.
Settling first in Vineland, N.J., Bolnick worked at Carlisle Gas Burners in Millville, N.J., eventually becoming vice president of sales. While employed at Carlisle, he moved to New York City where he lived for 28 years. He also worked at Vector Graphics in Yonkers, N.Y.
In 2003, Bolnick retired to Broomall and was a member of the Fire Police of the Broomall Fire Department.
Bolnick is survived by daughters Sari Bolnick and Ruth Bolnick; sons Charles Bolnick, Britt Pastor Bolnick and Piers Pastor Bolnick; sister Joyce Stone; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
